美國在臺協會（AIT）與國立清華大學、國立臺北大學合作推行英語專家計畫（English Language Specialist），本計畫採線上方式，依教師開設EMI課程經驗及最高學歷取得國家等背景，進行初階、中階及高階EMI教師培訓。完成後可取得由AIT-NTPU-NTHU 所聯合頒發的EMI教師培訓證書。

本期英語專家計畫授課教師為Joseph Siegel，現任斯德哥爾摩大學（Stockholm University）英語系教授，同時擔任「即時監測動態英語聽力（ReMoDEL）計畫」的首席研究員。他擁有阿斯頓大學（Aston University）應用語言學博士學位，研究專長包括第二語言（L2）聽力教學、聽力理論以及行動研究。

We are partnering with the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) to offer the English Language Specialist Program. Conducted online, this program provides EMI teacher training at Entry, Junior, and Senior levels, tailored to participants’ EMI teaching experience and the country where they earned their highest degree. Upon completion, participants will receive an EMI Teacher Training Certificate issued by AIT, NTPU, and NTHU.

The program instructor, Joseph Siegel, is a professor in the Department of English at Stockholm University and the principal investigator of the Real-Time Monitoring of Dynamic English Listening (ReMoDEL) project. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Aston University, with research expertise in second language (L2) listening instruction, listening theories, and action research.

For NTHU faculty participants, the listed hours may be counted toward the NTHU Pilot Program for Rewarding Faculty Professional Development in English-Medium Instruction. All faculty members are encouraged to register and participate in this event.

March 12 (Thu.), March 18 (Wed.), and March 26 (Thu.), 2026 | 5:30–8:30 p.m. (Taiwan Time)

中階培訓 Junior Level：

April 9 (Thu.), April 21 (Tue.), and April 28 (Tue.), 2026 | 5:30–8:30 p.m. (Taiwan Time)

高階培訓 Senior Level：

May 6 (Wed.), May 13 (Wed.), and May 21 (Thu.), 2026 | 5:30–8:30 p.m. (Taiwan Time)

*三階段課程皆為線上方式上課 All are simultaneous remote courses.
*各階段分別頒發結業認證 EMI Certificate issued upon completion of each level.
